Introduction
Welcome to our Physics Stories
A number of students from two of our grade 11 Physics classes wrote stories for a project. The stories were a way for the students to explain ideas that they had learned during the class. The ideas, literary devices and artistic work were excellent. The books were developed to be shared with young readers. Outcomes from Language Arts, Art and Physics were the background for the development of these works.
Two Physics 11 classes developed picture books for young readers presented in an original artistic manner. The books were based on knowledge outcomes for Physics 11. Information for the books was collected from textual and internet research. Topics include light, waves, and electrical energy.
The guys in the following picture put the work together and put it up on the website. They used a variety of communications technologies to prepare the books and develop the website.
